Bee Park in Montentargius-Saline
On Saturday, April 6th, at the Molentargius-Saline Regional Natural Park, the Italian Living Lab of the Coevolvers project inaugurated the urban educational apiary as part of the Bee Park Molentargius project.
The project, funded by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Department of the Environment), aims to restore some areas of the Molentargius Park to their original vocation, productive and supportive of biodiversity, through the involvement of citizens, institutions, and park beneficiaries in caring for, managing, and promoting sustainability education. Through the creation of shared gardens and the installation of the educational apiary, the goal is to reclaim the identity of this area and promote sustainability education. Furthermore, the project includes the implementation of training courses, including an introduction to beekeeping and olive growing, as well as a sensory analysis course for honey and olive oil.
