Umwelt walk in Pansio-Perno, May 30

Turku LL organised a guided walking tour with our colleagues and stakeholders to familiarize with the non-human life in the Pansio-Perno area.
We were happy to have the environmental researcher and the Finnish national consultation group member Timo Vuorisalo as our nature guide. Based on his decades-long experience of urban ecology and incredible knowledge of animal species living in these environments, Timo guided us through four sites representing different kinds of nature types and habitats in his unique way that is not only deeply informative but also warm and fun and inspiring in looking optimistically to the future of these species and their habitats.
This walk was a wonderful opportunity to learn about natural places in Pansio-Perno from other species' perspectives. It also helped us to see how things can be changed into better in the future, thus providing hope and fostering optimism among the participants.
