We developed NbS comic strips

The project partners agreed during the proposal-writing period that we should create alternative science communication tools to disseminate results to diverse audiences. It is particularly important for projects that deal with challenges requiring broad societal engagement, e.g., the biodiversity crisis or climate change. To translate the project's core, complex theoretical concepts — such as coevolution, affordances, multispecies democracy, and caring with nature— into easy-to-absorb messages, we developed a series of comic strips in collaboration with a professional illustrator. These visual narratives are designed to bridge the gap between academic discourse and diverse target groups, including schoolchildren, laypeople, policymakers, and researchers.
