Coevolutionary learning in the transformation of Nature-based Solutions
Over the past four years, the COEVOLVERS project, funded by Horizon Europe, has developed a novel perspective on Nature-based Solutions (NBS) to unlock their potential for inclusive and transformative change.
We are pleased to invite our colleagues, researchers, policymakers, and decision- makers to participate in a series of engaging online symposia that explore and discuss this approach in greater depth and advance our understanding and application of Nature-based Solutions beyond the current state of the art.
Coevolutionary learning represents an experimental and experiential process that facilitates a transition from doubt to an updated belief system. This symposium seeks to examine, in depth, the ways in which transdisciplinary research initiatives can contribute to transformative change within multispecies communities.

- Coevolutionary learning in NBS design and implementation, research professor Katriina Soini & COEVOLVERS Living Labs
- Seeds of change - transformative learning in a transdisciplinary COEVOLVERS Project, PhD Mónika Rusvai & PhD Ann Ojala
Discussions will be opened by the senior researcher (CIRTES) and the invited professor (FOPES) at UCLouvain, Ela Callorda Fossati, and practitioner and activist Ingrid Lewis. Participants are encouraged to join the reflections with their experiences and perspectives on the topic.
